22 countries. 11 months. 1 wild adventure!

We are heading off to South America first to begin our round the world adventure. We would love friends and family to meet up with us along the way! Below you can track our itinerary and reach out to see if you’d like to meet up!

  • November

    • Curacao: We kick off our trip with a tropical Honeymoon before diving into the backpacking world.

    • Peru: We will be visiting Lima, Huaraz, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Arequipa, and Lake Titicaca.

    December

    • Bolivia: We will be visiting La Paz and Uyuni Salt Flats.

    • Chile: We will be visiting San Pedro de Atacama, Santiago, and Valparaiso. We will be crossing into Mendoza, Argentina as well!

    January

    • Patagonia Region: We will be completing the W Trek in Torres del Paine in addition to exploring El Chalten area.

    • Argentina: We will be staying in and around Buenos Aires area.

  • February

    • Fiji: We look forward to SCUBA diving and living on island time for a few days.

    • New Zealand: We have rented a Campervan to explore this amazing country and were able to secure passes for the legendary Routeburn Trek!

  • March

    • Nepal: We are excited to complete the Annapurna Trek to the 10th tallest mountain in the world with Matt’s parents!

    April

    • Thailand: We plan to spend 3 weeks exploring the Thai beaches, Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

    May:

    • Cambodia: We have 2 full weeks to explore Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, Phnom Pehn, and Kampot.

    • South/Central Vietnam: We are excited to spend time in Phu Quoc Islands, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoi An.

    June:

    • North Vietnam: We are excited to visit Hanoi and spend time in Ha Long Bay and scootering around the Ha Giang Loop.

    • Indonesia: We will be exploring Bali and the surrounding islands, including hiking Mt Ijen sulfur mining volcano and SCUBA diving in the Komodo National Park.

    July:

    • Singapore: We can’t wait to spend a long weekend in Singapore to end our time in Asia!

  • July

    • Kenya: We will spend a week in Nairobi with my cousin and her husband prior to departing on our overland safari.

    • Tanzania: We will be visiting Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Mt Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar.

    August

    • Malawi: We will be visiting Kande and Lake Malawi.

    • Zambia: We will be visiting South Luangwa National.

    • Zimbabwe: We will be visiting Lake Zariba, Great Zimbabwe Ruins, Matapos Nation Park, and finally Victoria Falls!

    • Botswana: We will be visiting Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta.

    September

    • South Africa: We will be spending a few weeks in and around Cape Town area enjoying some down time after a long overland safari adventure!

    • Morocco: We will be meeting up with Susan’s parents to explore Marrakech, the Sahara desert, Fes, and Chefchaouen.
